Programming Information

2001 - 2005 Chrysler Sebring Coupe 2-Door Hardtop - comes with self programming instructions. You can view them under the 'Programming Instructions' tab above.

2001 - 2005 Dodge Stratus 2-Door Hardtop - This key is not self programmable. You will need to locate a local locksmith to have this product programmed to your vehicle. The cost for key cutting/program will vary depending on your location.

Programming Instructions

2001-2005 Chrysler Sebring Coupe 

 

 Note: You must have two valid keys to add a new key to the system.

 

1. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the
    ON position for 5 seconds.

 

2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and remove the first key.

 

3. Insert the second valid key and switch the ignition switch to the ON position
    within 7 seconds.
    Theft-alarm indicator will blinktwice.
    Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and remove the second key.

 

4. Insert a NEW blank key into the ignition and switch the ignition to the ON
    position within 7 seconds.
    The theft-alarm indicator will illuminate for about 3 seconds when the
    programming is completed.

    If an error occurs, the indicator will flash 3 times.

 

5. Repeat step 4 if you want to register additional keys. Be sure to compete the
    entire programming process within the 30 seconds after the theft-alarm indicator
    flashes in step 3.

 

 

 

   Note: If you do not have 2 valid working keys you will have to call a
             Locksmith to program or originate a key for you.
