This is a dealer installed remote where the 4th button is used for remote start. As with all vehicles, if the vehicle was not manufactured with remote start then it does not have that feature. In this case, this remote is used for vehicles that were NOT manufactured with remote start and the dealership installed it after manufacture. If you do not currently have a remote start installed in your vehicle and you purchase this product it will not work. This remote is for vehicles that the Hyundai/Kia dealership specifically installed the remote start function into the vehicle after manufacture. This remote requires Dealer security to program. You will get either a Hyundai or Kia logo'd item. If you wish to have a specific logo please contact us BEFORE PURCHASING to ensure we can provide you with what you'd like.
