You must have two previously programmed smart keys inside the vehicle and the new unprogrammed smart key readily accessible.

Note: A maximum of four smart keys can be programmed to your vehicle. If you would like to replace a previously programmed smart key with a new smart key, or if you already have four smart keys programmed to your vehicle, you must contact a Locksmith to be erased and reprogrammed.

Ensure that the vehicle is off before beginning this procedure. Ensure that all doors are closed before beginning this procedure and that all doors remain closed throughout the procedure. Perform this procedure exactly as described below, and perform all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. If any steps are performed out of sequence, stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again. Please read and understand the entire procedure before you begin.

1. Place the new unprogrammed smart key in the pocket inside of the center console.

2. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.

3. Press and release the brake pedal one time.

4. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.

5. Press and release the brake pedal one time. The indicator on the Start/Stop button should begin to rapidly flash, indicating that programming mode has been entered and two programmed smart keys have been detected in the vehicle.

6. Within one minute, press the start/stop button. If four Intelligent Access Keys have already been programmed to your vehicle, the message MAX # OF FOBS LEARNED will be displayed on the message center.

7. Remove the smart key from the center console pocket and press the UNLOCK or Lock control on the newly programmed smart key to exit programming mode.

8. Verify that the remote entry functions operate (lock, unlock) and that the vehicle starts with new smart key. If the smart key has been successfully programmed, it can be
used to activate the smart key with push button Start feature and
can be used to start your vehicle.

1.Open the floor console storage compartment lid. With the buttons facing the rear of your vehicle and the key ring up, place the intelligent access key into the backup slot

2. With the buttons facing the rear of your vehicle and the key ring up, place the smart key into the backup slot

3. Press the push button ignition switch.

4. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.

5. Remove the smart key.

6. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed smart key in the backup slot and press the push button ignition switch.

7. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.

8. Remove the smart key.

9. Wait five seconds, then place the unprogrammed smart key in the backup slot and press the push button ignition switch.

Programming is now complete. Check that the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new smart key. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat Steps 1 through 7.

2013 - 2014 Ford Flex

Note: A maximum of four smart keys can be programmed to your vehicle.

You must have two previously programmed smart keys inside the vehicle and the new unprogrammed smart keys readily accessible.

Make sure that the vehicle is off before beginning this procedure. Make sure that all doors are closed before beginning and that they remain closed throughout the procedure.

Perform all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. Stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again if any steps are performed out of sequence.

Read and understand the entire procedure before you begin.

1. Place the new unprogrammed smart key in the pocket inside of the center console with the buttons facing out and with key ring up.

2. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.

3. Press and release the brake pedal one time.

4. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.

5. Press and release the brake pedal one time. The indicator on the START/STOP button should begin to rapidly flash, indicating the programming mode has been entered and two programmed smart keys have been detected in the vehicle.

6. Press the START/STOP button within one minute. A message will appear in the information display indicating that the new smart key was programmed.

7. Remove the intelligent access key from the center console pocket and press the unlock button on the newly programmed smart key to exit programming mode.

8. Verify that the remote entry functions operate (press lock then unlock, making sure you end in unlock) and that the vehicle starts with new smart key.

2015 - 2016 Ford Focus

You must have two previously programmed keys and the new unprogrammed key readily accessible. If you do not have two previously programmed keys you will need a Locksmith to cut and program a second key.

Make sure that the ignition is switched off before beginning this procedure. Make sure
that you close all the doors before beginning and that they remain closed throughout the procedure. Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. Stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again if you carry out any steps out of sequence.
Note:You can program a maximum of eight smart keys to your vehicle.

Read and understand the entire procedure before you begin.

1. Open the floor console storage compartment lid.

2. Remove the tray.

3. Place the first programmed smart key flat on the symbol at the bottom of the floor console storage compartment.

4. Press the push button ignition switch.

5. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.

6. Remove the intelligent access key.

7. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed smart key flat on the symbol.

8. Press the push button ignition switch.

9. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.

10. Remove the smart key.

11. Within 10 seconds, place the unprogrammed smart key flat on the symbol.

12. Press the push button ignition switch.

Programming is now complete. Check that the remote control functions operate and
your vehicle starts with the new smart key.

If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat Steps 1 through 12.
