**VERY IMPORTANT** - You must make sure your vehicle has been boosted to the XL8 System. The vehicles that were built with the XL7 system have been notified by GM to be brought in to be boosted to XL8 system due to weak signal problems. This remote will only work on vehicles with the XL8 updated system. The dealer should have changed the code on the SPID label after updating to the XL8 System. Label is located in spare tire compartment under trunk floor trim panel.
